Chelmsford’s new off-road driving experience for young children from the age of 3. Kids drive tough lookalike mini-Landrovers in a safe environment and complete a range of challenges. Maximum height limit of 5′ or 150cm applies. Book extra slots to extend the experience.

Available all year
An approximately 25+ minute guided drive around the equestrian centre fields. Great fun for groups and families. Kids will love it. If you are lucky, you will see our hares and foxes.
This is suited to groups of up to four drivers of similar ability or groups of friends driving together. If your children are younger than 4, please contact us before booking as we need to make sure that the needs of the group as a whole can be met.
Please contact us separately if you want to arrange a private or closed group session.
This is a guided tour of the farm, parental support is required for the whole journey.
Please ensure that everybody is appropriately dressed for the day. Waterproof boots are recommended for the adults.
Children sit in the cars and don’t get muddy and find trainers more comfortable than wellington boots.
Feeding the animals is not permitted.
There are drives available each Saturday and Sunday to pre book and everyday during school holidays. Private drives can be arranged weekdays and at other times,

The
Cross Country
Challenge
Cross Country Challenge is a shorter course with a number of obstacles to complete along the way for the older children. Drivers will need to follow the flags in the field and complete a series of skills challenges.
Parent or carer is responsible for supervising their child after an introductory guide to the cars.
These drives are not available during the winter. The first drives of the new season start in April 2025. Last drives next year will be on 31st October 2025.

Our popular Easter Egg Hunt drives are now open for booking.
Special holiday events add something different to a regular field drive. Check out availability on our booking pages for information on treasure hunts and advanced driver challenges. Drivers will need to follow the flags in the field and complete a series of skills challenges to receive a reward at the end.
